BERWYN, PA - - Barbara K. Clement will celebrate the release of her third book on February 27, 2013 at the Gryphon Café 105 West Lancaster Ave., Wayne  from 6-8pm.

In the third novel of her Main Line mystery series published by Kay Square Press, Clement of Berwyn invites readers to join aging sisters Edwina and Viola Tyrwhitt who think they have left the turmoil of their youth behind and live comfortably in their shared home alongside St. Edmund’s University. Their illusion of tranquility is destroyed when the bell tower on their property comes crashing down to to expose skeletal remains buried deep beneath the chapel floor.

Their journey to discern who these people were and how they came to be buried on their Main Line property reveals that it is never too late to confront family secrets. And, with these bones are more secrets than the sisters could have dreamed: murder, affairs, blackmail and international treasures.

The Main Line has a rich history and a picturesque landscape, attracting Philadelphia's elite. It provides the perfect setting for Clement's mystery series. This novel follows Main Liners: Legacy of Deceit, published in 2009 and Main Liners II, The Blue Fahua, published in November 2010.

Clement retired from Villanova University in 2008 to begin her career writing novels nestled among the old affluent families of the Main Line. It is from this inside view that she crafts her mystery series complete with romance, deception, money, and family connections. Previously, Ms. Clement was an executive with Leslie Fay Inc., a multi-faceted fashion company; an intelligence officer for the U.S. government; and a syndicated columnist for the Newhouse National News Service and Chicago Sun Times/Daily News Wire Service. For 2 years, she served as a foreign correspondent, covering Europe for the wire services from a home in Amsterdam and offices at the Palais du Bourbon in Paris. Ms. Clement recently completed her third title in the mystery series, Main Liners III: Vortex of Secrets.
