Inaugural Radnor Township School District Information Session Open to Public, Will Focus on Elementary Literacy, Jan. 25
All Radnor Township School District parents and community members interested in learning more about Elementary Literacy are invited to attend the inaugural Radnor Township School District Information Session on Wednesday, Jan. 25 from 10-11:30 a.m. in the ground floor conference room of the administration building, 135 S. Wayne Ave. The topic of Elementary Literacy was chosen through a survey that was open to the public. Other issues of interest to respondents were standardized assessments, gifted education, effect of coursework on college acceptance, and homework. These, and other topics, will be featured in future sessions.
Questions will be accepted in advance through email to infosessions@rtsd.org. To enable all interested parties to benefit from the information session, the event will be available via video, podcast, and through written record on RTSD.org after its conclusion. Assistant Superintendent Dr. Kim Maguire and Literacy Coordinator Dr. Maureen McQuiggan will be the featured speakers.
The purpose of these public information sessions is to provide the community with in-depth information on various educational topics of interest. Sessions will focus on curricular, instructional, and assessment issues that are directly related to our district as well as educational issues of a more global nature.
We look forward to launching this new avenue of communication with the RTSD community!
