Employees Charged with Stealing Money from Bed, Bath and Beyond, Police Say

Police arrested two employees for theft on the same day.

Two employees of Bed, Bath and Beyond in St. Davids were charged with theft in separate incidents at the store on Feb. 27.

According to a police report, an 18-year-old woman who was a cashier at the store took $560.72 from 23 transactions between Feb. 19 and 26. She reportedly said she would take cash from the register while entering product returns. Police filed multiple theft charges against her.

Not two hours later that day, police were called back to the store for the report of a theft and an employee leaving the store. The report does not state exactly how the 19-year-old man reportedly stole $127.20. He is also facing various theft charges.

Charlie, Patch's policy is not to name people charged with misdemeanors.

Thanks for the update Sam, although I disagree with that policy. Is it also Patch policy to not name Radnor Police Officers who "retire"?
