1.) Radnor fell 6-3 to the Central Bucks Athletic Association (CBAA) in the Southeastern Pennsylvania Youth Lacrosse Association championship. The league is comprised of 7th and 8th graders.
Congratulations on a great season guys!
2.) There was a serious concrete truck accident in Radnor, Ohio this morning. If nothing else, kinda makes you realize how lucky we are not to live in Ohio.
3.) Radnor High School-alum and super pundit David Brooks wrote an interesting column in the New York Times on Tuesday about different political leadership styles vis-a-vis America's need to more or less immediately start spending less money or collecting more of it or (preferably) both. Who knew David Brooks was from Radnor?
(Wikipedia, apparently)
4.) Tickets for the Harry Potter finale went on sale in many theatres at noon today. While the movie won't be released until July 15, better scoop some up now if you want to see it this calender year.
5.) Four years after their 16-year-old son was killed by a fall into a Mexican mine shaft during a retreat with the Wayne branch of Travel for Teens, his parents were awarded $15 million in wrongful death damages by a Philadelphia judge on Tuesday.
