Notice a road is flooded? Just saw a store clerk upload a pallet of fresh batteries? Please use this story on Radnor Patch to help out your neighbors as we brave the storm together.
As we hunker down to ride out Hurricane Sandy, we want to make sure that Radnor stays connected.
Just one year ago, we had that snow storm the weekend before Halloween that knocked out power to many homes for days. You can share information about what's going on in your neighborhood by commenting or adding to our live chat.
Radnor Patch is all about connecting neighbors and helping neighbors so we hope you’ll find this information hub helpful as we brave the storm together. Stay safe, Radnor.

it's 7;00 am Sunday and I'm just returned from Giant. The staff are re-stocking the shelves and seem to have everything, including batteries, except that the 16-pack of AA's are gone. they have 4 packs. milk, bread, butter, eggs, yogurt are abundant. Lots of veggies and fruit. Selection of beef low; new chicken just put out!

Since power outages are inevitable having a long run time flashlight is a good idea.
Lowes has a 65 hour run time flashlight for under $5.00

I got mine in store. I also got one at Target. You can never have too many flashlights.

I've been hearing sirens along with Bryn Mawr fire company's siren-thing pretty much all day. It goes without saying that law enforcement, fire fighters and emts are going to be working overtime these next couple of days.
