Radnor Home Prices Dropped in March

The median price of a property sold was $509,250.

Radnor Township home sales in March rose 22.2 percent from the same month last year.

According to a Home Market report from Prudential Fox and Roach Realtors, 22 properties changed hands in the township during March this year.

In 2011 that number was 18; in 2010 it was 8.

Compared with the same month last year, Radnor fared third percentage-wise out of nine Main Line municipalities included in the report.

(Willistown Township performed best with a 160 percent increase.)

While sales were up, the median price of a home sold in Radnor decreased from $626,000 last March to $509,250 this March — an 18.7 percent decrease.

The average days on the market for homes that did sell in Radnor this March stayed the same at 101, according to the Prudential Fox and Roach report.
