Radnor Township home sales in January were down 17.6 percent in January from the same month last year.
According to a Home Market report from Prudential Fox and Roach Realtors, 14 properties changed hands in the township during January this year. In 2011 that number was 17; in 2010 it was 12.
Compared with the same month last year, Radnor fared seventh percentage-wise out of nine Main Line municipalities included in the report.
(Newtown Township performed best with a 128.6 percent increase, and Malvern Borough performed the worst with a 66.7 percent decrease.)
The median price of a home sold in Radnor increased from $445,000 last January to $610,000 this January.
The average days on the market for homes that did sell in Radnor this January increased 44.1 percent from 92 to 133 days, according to the Prudential Fox and Roach report.
