Taco Bell Closes in Wayne

A Rite Aid will be built on the property.

The Taco Bell in Wayne closed on Sunday, July 29. The property on the corner of Lancaster and Aberdeen avenues, along with the adjacent former Blockbuster Video property, will be home to a new Rite Aid.

The Rite Aid will include a drive-through prescription window, an item that added a lot of time to the proposal process because drive-throughs had been prohibited in the Wayne Business Overlay District.

The plans for the Rite Aid have gone through all of Radnor Township's Subdivision and Land Deverlopment process, and the project's resolution has been approved by the Board of Commissioners.

Is the old Rite Aid down the road moving to this location? If so, any word on what is going to move in there?

Will there be any new tacobell openings? It was a real great spot for us kids for a quick cheap bite.
