On Thursday, March 7 @6:30pm, Radnor Memorial Library and The Community Garden Club at Wayne are hosting Dan Benarcik, a horticulturist we have borrowed from the very beautiful and imaginative Chanticleer right here in Wayne. It has the reputation of being one of the most romantic and exciting public gardens in the country. At the Library, Benarcik will teach a class on developing great container gardens. Registration for the class is not required.
At Chanticleer, Benarcik oversees the Courtyard Gardens, concentrating on tropical, sub-tropical and tender perennials for seasonal display. Previously, he worked as the woodspath gardener at the Mount Cuba Center in Delaware, specializing in plants native to the eastern piedmont. Dan is a graduate of the University of Delaware where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in plant science.
Refreshments will be served. We hope you will join us!
See you at the Library,
Pam
