The streambank revitalization project at Clem Macrone park this past weekend was a huge success! With almost 50 volunteers over the course of two days, we planted 20 trees and 85 shrubs and bushes. This project was funded by a TreeVitalize grant, a program directed jointly by staff of the DCNR Bureaus of Forestry and of Recreation and Conservation.
The benefits to the park and stream will be seen for years to come. We thank everyone who came and helped out!
