I feel obligated to introduce you all to the weird, discombobulated, and altogether messy slew of words that will soon become my first Radnor patch blog entry. Truth be told, I'm not great at introductions. It feels strange telling people things I already know (this is why garden-party socializing is so difficult for me: there are only so many times I can repeat my basic information as well as the inevitable "So, you thinking about college yet?" before spontaneously combusting.) But in the interest of readership, I'll give you the run-down on this cool new opportunity.
As a nerd who loves all things creative, I wanted to approach life in Radnor from an artist's persective, and as someone who has played many different roles in life. Throughout this blog, I hope to explore some of these roles, from the child with the overactive imagination (think: Barbies kidnapped by a Nosferatu doll who's part of an intricate spy ring), to the once Broadway hopeful (who knew four-foot-eight was the cutoff for Jane Banks?), to the girl who was forced into a tree costume to hand out flyers at a local theatre (pictures to come!) I hope that these tales are both interesting and refreshing, in that you realize Radnor's artistic underbelly is alive and well.
Well, that's about it! I sincerely hope this introduction doesn't turn you away forever from my blog -- in fact, there's much crazier stuff to come.
