DESCRIPTION:Trained as a Chef at Johnson &amp\; Wales University\, cha
 insaw artist Marty Long soon discovered a love of ice sculpture. He went
  on to take the silver medal at the Ice Art World Championchips in 1998.
  In 2000 Marty\, with the encouragement of a friend\, tried his hand at 
 woodcarving in a Christmas tree lot. Long credits his improvement in thi
 s art form to the guidance and instruction of Brian Ruth. Mr. Long has s
 ince been inducted into Ruth&rsquo\;s &ldquo\;Masters of the Chainsaw&rd
 quo\; team.\nOn Wednesday\, July 11th beginning at 11:30AM\, Marty Long 
 will be at the Wayne Art Center to showcase his chainsaw carving. He wil
 l be carving a 3.5 foot stump\, and the resulting sculpture will remain
