Devon Fall Classic - Exciting Show Jumping and Family Fun

The Devon Fall Classic begins this Thursday, September 12 at the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair grounds and will feature an exciting all jumper format, including the Open Speed Stake, the $25,000 Devon Fall Classic and the Zone 2 Jumper Finals.  In addition to the competition, there's a Fall Festival with great food and shopping, live music, midway rides and games and pony rides.

Thursday, the competition begins at 9am and will conclude around 6:30.  The Fall Festival will be open from noon until 9pm, with live music from 6 to close.

Friday, the action in the ring begins at 8am and will run into the evening, concluding at about 9.  But don't go anywhere!  Live music, which will begin at 6 will keep the crowds on their toes until 11pm.  

Saturday, the format is much the same as Friday, but the music will begin at 2pm with an open mic and then continue until 11pm with some of the areas best musicians and bands.  There's a Top Dog contest sponsored by What A Good Dog, form 11am -12:30 and pony rides from 1-5pm.

Sunday brings the Zone 2 Jumper Finals stating at 9am.  The Fall Festival will be open from 10am-5pm, with pony rides from 11am - 3pm.  At the conclusion of the show, all of the gorgeous mums used to decorate the ring will be available for purchase at fantastic prices.

So bring down the whole family and enjoy the beautiful weather! Have some tasty BBQ or Italian Market fare, maybe an ice cream or a funnel cake. Kick back with a beverage and some great music. Ride the Ferris wheel. Shop at over forty boutique vendors offering everything from equestrian goods to on-trend Fall apparel, jewelry, accessories, home decor and more.
