Community Corner

Back to the '60s

Today's Snapshot takes us back in time.

This picture was taken at the Mt. Pleasant Community Center during the 1960's. This was in the afterschool and preschool program that Miss Mazie Hall, a civil rights leader and Mt. Pleasant resident, initiated and developed. Mt. Pleasant is a neighborhood north of Upper Gulph Road in Wayne. Note the water towers that still stand today.
