Kids Night Out: Halloween Party

  • When: Friday, Oct. 19 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m.
  • Where: Club La Maison 215 Sugartown Rd, Wayne
  • Why Go: Let the kids have a fun night out!  For ages 2 - 10, the Halloween party is an evening of swimming, eating pizza, games and crafts.  Kids are encouraged to come in costume!
  • Cost: $35 non-members, $30 members 

Main Line Private & Independent School Expo

  • When: Sunday, Oct. 21 from 1 - 4 p.m.
  • Where: Radnor Valley Country Club
  • Why Go: Come out and meet school admissions professionals, current students and parents from the leading private and independent schools from the area.  Learn how to find the right program for your child, explore different types of schools, philosophies and programs available.  Find out about the admissions process, and determine what budget you should be looking at and receive information about scholarships and tax credits.
  • Cost:  $5 donation or children's book donation at the door.

  • When: Saturday, Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.

  • Why Go: Great selection of kids items: clothes, shoes, books, toys, and more.  Cash only.  White Tag 1/2 off sale from 1-2pm.

Tri County Concerts 72nd Season Opening with Stefan Jackiw

  • Where:
  • Why Go: The Washington Post described Stefan's talent as “off the scale.” Come out for an afternoon of music at Eastern Universities McGinnis Auditorium and help kick off the Emerging Artists Concert Series. Stefan will perform Stravinsky's Suite Italienne and Violin Sonata No.1 in G major, as well as  Strauss' Violin Sonata in E flat.
