Lane Restrictions This Week on I-476

Crews will occupy two lanes to patch areas of deteriorating pavement.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that lane restrictions are scheduled this week on Interstate 95 and Interstate 476 in Delaware County, for pavement patching.

The work schedule is:

•      On Tuesday through Thursday (Jan. 21-23), lane restrictions are scheduled on I-95 in both directions, from the Philadelphia city line to the Delaware state line in Tinicum Township, Ridley Township, Upland Borough, City of Chester, Chester Township and Upper Chichester and Lower Chichester townships, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and

•      On Tuesday and Wednesday (Jan. 21-22), lane restrictions are scheduled on southbound I-476 between the U.S. Route 30 and U.S. Route 1 interchanges in Radnor, Haverford and Marple townships, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews. The operation is dependent on the weather.
