Mini-Golf in the Radnor Library This Weekend

The Radnor Memorial Library will be hosting a crowd of children and adults who will be invading the library for a weekend of miniature golf in and around the stacks for its Fore the Books! fundraiser.

The Radnor Memorial Library will be hosting a crowd of children and adults who will be invading the library for a weekend of miniature golf in and around the stacks for its Fore the Books! fundraiser.

On Friday September 20 from 7 to 9:30 pm adults ages 21 and older are invited for an evening of wine and beer, food, music, a worst golf outfit contest, silent auction and mini-golf.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at the library for $40 per person/$75 per couple  or online at http://www.radnorlibrary.org/fore-the-books/.

On Saturday September 21, all ages can drop in to the library between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. for low-key family fun on the mini-golf course. Tickets are $5 per person at the door.

The funds raised at this two day event will help the library develop possible plans for an addition to the current library building and to pay operating costs not covered by the township's and state's contributions to the budget, according to the library.

Event sponsors:

PNC Wealth Management, event sponsor; Chester Valley Engineers, LLC and Satanoff Insurance Agency (1st and Last Hole sponsors) and Eagle Village Shops, Hole-in-One sponsor. For a complete list of sponsors and for more information visit http://www.radnorlibrary.org/fore-the-books/.

Because of the fundraising events, the library will close at 2 p.m. Friday September 20 and will remain closed all day Saturday September 21.

The library will be open regular hours on Sunday September 22 from 1 - 5 pm.
