Old Eagle School Road to be Closed for Water Main Installation

The road will be closed weekdays through the end of August.

The following was provided to Patch by PennDOT:

Aqua Pennsylvania will close and detour Old Eagle School Road between Upper Gulph Road and U.S. Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County and Radnor Township, Delaware County, beginning Monday, June 9, for water main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. The road will be closed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through August 29.

During construction, Old Eagle School Road through traffic will be detoured over Upper Gulph Road, North Wayne Avenue, and Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.

Aqua Pennsylvania will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
