Patching Work on Blue Route Begins Tuesday

The work is dependent on the weather.

The following was provided to Patch by PennDOT:

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that crews will patch Interstate 95 and Interstate 476 in Delaware County on Tuesday and Wednesday (June 3-4). 

The work schedule is:

•Tuesday and Wednesday (June 3-4), lane restrictions are scheduled on I-476 in both directions between the U.S. Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and U.S. Route 1 (Media Bypass) interchanges in Radnor and Marple townships, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and

•Wednesday (June 4), lane restrictions are scheduled on I-95 in both directions, from the Philadelphia city line to the Delaware state line in Tinicum Township, Ridley Township, Upland Borough, City of Chester, Chester Township and Upper Chichester and Lower Chichester townships, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Motorists are advised to be alert of this moving operation and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when driving near work crews.
