The following comes from Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals.
It’s never too late for puppy love. Just to prove that, here is sweet Jackson, inviting you to enjoy all the fun of a happy puppy and the innocence of his big generous heart. Nine months old, this boy has it all. He’s loving and affectionate, excited to see you, always hoping for a big hug (he’ll hug you back), and beautifully well adjusted. Jackson is a mix of a lot of things – Australian shepherd, lab and maybe cattle dog too, weighing about 45 pounds. He’s the very picture of canine diversity! It’s doesn’t take much to make him happy. Topping his list would be a human companion to call his own, then a nice rub, a simple toy, some playtime, a walk, another dog to have fun with; even cats are fine. Kids? Yes indeed! You just can’t go wrong with Jackson because he’s all lover boy.
He got a good start on life with his sister Lucy, with an owner who socialized them well but ran into landlord issues and had to surrender the pups. So they’re at Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals, with high hopes that the New Year will bring them a home for keeps. Jackson has so much to offer and will be eager to please you (and learn the usual puppy ropes). Could this be your dream dog?
