Pets Looking for People: Trudy

What are you really hoping for this holiday season?  Does an eight-pound source of steady peace and security in your life, a dependable, devoted, faithful companion appeal to you? If it does, then you and Trudy might be meant for each other.  This beautiful girl would love to offer you the comforting calm of a quiet side-by-side on the couch or purr loudly in your arms. At the moment Trudy is at Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals in Radnor, wondering what happened to her old life.  Her family couldn’t care for her anymore so Trudy, a silky four-year-old long-haired calico, is trying to adjust to all those other cats in the cat room.  She’s easy going and demure, with a soft nature, so life with a couple dozen other cats can be a bit overwhelming. At first Trudy hid behind the laundry and poked her head out when she saw one of those nice humans appear.  Meowing modestly, she’d ask for some attention, and bask when brushed, purring gratefully. Now she’s getting braver and is showing herself to be a super sweetie—polite, demure and loving. She’s really fine with other cats—she’d just prefer there weren’t quite so many! One sure thing: your holidays can be happier with Trudy.
