Radnor Class of '13 Alum Dies

The Radnor community has recently suffered tragic deaths of former students.

The Radnor Township School District has confirmed that Matt Brodsky, a member of Radnor High School's class of 2013, died Thursday, Dec. 19.

District spokesperson Michael Petitti said the district had no comment at this time because administrators had no details on Brodsky's death.

Radnor Patch will update this story when information regarding any services or grief counseling for students become available. Petitti did say the district has  counselors ready if any student needs assistance. "If it is determined more resources need to be made available over break, we will post related information on our website," he said.

The Radnor community has recently suffered tragic deaths of former students.

Dan Maxwell, a 2013 alum, died on July 21. In the wake of his death his parents created the DMAX Foundation, to generate conversations about mental illness and youth.

Radnor alum Auguste Chardonnet died in August while in Panama visiting friends.

In April, the body of a man pulled from the Providence River Tuesday was confirmed by the Rhode Island Department of Health as missing Radnor High School alum Sunil Tripathi. Tripathi was wrongly linked to the Boston Marathon bombings after suspect photos released by the FBI had some speculating one of the men resembled the missing 22-year-old.
