Road Closures for Radnor Run on Sunday

The race is from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

The 35th annual Penn Medicine Radnor Run will take place Sunday, Oct. 28 in Wayne.

The race is from 8:30 to 11 a.m. You may want to avoid the course if you are driving in the area during that time.

The five-mile course starts and ends at the Radnor Township Municipal Building. Runners will travel down Iven Avenue, across Conestoga Road to Church Road, which becomes Brooke Road. They will then turn left at Darby-Paoli Road and turn into the Willows. After exiting the park, runners will make a left on Newtown Road, a left on Abraham's Lane, and a right on Lesley Road.

In the final leg of the race, runners will take Parkes Run Lane to Abraham's Lane and back to Church Road. Crossing Conestoga Road again, runners will run down Aberdeen Avenue to Orchard Way to Brookside Avenue and back to the township building.

According to Radnor Township, police and volunteer course marshals will be handling traffic as the runners pass through each section of the course.

Online registration for the event closes at noon on Thursday, Oct. 25. You can register on race day from 7 to 8 a.m.
