Roxborough-Manayunk Voter Registration Pub Crawl

Where: Pretzle Park at Cresson Street and Roxborough Avenue, Philadelphia
When: August 17, 6 p.m.

What: Meet with other volunteers for Obama in Pretzel Park at the Corner of Cresson St. and Roxborough Ave.. Enjoy the Friday evening pub scene while talking to voters, registering and educating them about the new PA voter ID law.

Champagne Brunch

Where: , 591 E Lancaster Avenue, Radnor
When: August 19, 10 a.m.

What: On Sundays, experience the Radnor Hotel's “Best of the Main Line” Champagne Sunday Brunch for a delectable delight. Enjoy the sounds of classical piano with an excellent view of the Formal Gardens in our elegant Terrace Room. The brunch costs $27.95 per person, $13.95 per child under 12
and is complimentary for children under 5.  

7th Annual McGraw Benefit

Where: Plumstead Inn, 26 W State Street, Media
When: August 19, 1 to 7 p.m.

What: This beef and beer event will feature live performances by the Broozers, Dave Stone “The Johnny Cash Experience,” Scott “Scotty” Paynter, and Becca Calabrese. There will also be a silent auction, with prizes that include including Phillies vs. Mets tickets, Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, and Sixers memorabilia, Media Theatre tickets, wine and liquor baskets, passes to many local attractions and restaurant gift certificates.

Glad the Dems are realistically planning for the future. It's also encouraging to know that all ofRead More the candidates actually have children in the public schools. Can't say the same about the Republican ticket which sure says something....
