Second-Hand Couture Clothing Sale This Week

Chanel, Armani and Prada are at your finger tips this week at the Community Clothes Charity sale.

The annual sale of donated couture and name brand fashions takes place at Village Hall of Eagle Village Shops.

According to the sale's Web site, "Look for this year's sale to include a newly expanded Boutique area featuring more jewelry, belts, handbags, and accessories. The 2012 sale also plans to feature many more new clothing items in addition to their renowned donations of high quality designer fashions (both new and gently used)."

The committee chooses one or more different beneficiaries from the Philadelphia area for their sales. The funds raised this year will benefit Young Scholars Frederick Douglass Charter School and New Directions for Women.

Visa and Mastercard are accepted at the sale. The popular $5 day Saturday sale is no longer being held.
