It's 'Art's Best Friend' at Wayne Art Center

The 'Reigning Cats and Dogs' exhibits art inspired by our companion animals.

Reigning Cats and Dogs, an exhibition celebrating the joy of animal companionship, will open to the public Friday with a private reception from 6-9 p.m. at the Wayne Art Center.

The exhibit features a body of juried entries from artists working in painting, drawing, pastel, mixed media, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture and fiber. Nearly 90 works of art representing 65 artists through the United States and Canada have been chosen out of 120 submissions. A portion of proceeds from sales and commissions will be dedicated to Main Line Animal Rescue.
