Art Exhibit at Cabrini College by Chair of Rosemont Art Dept

From Sept. 10 through Oct. 9, Cabrini College will host an art exhibit by Michael Willse, whose work has been shown in Philadelphia, New York, and Bologna, Italy. The exhibit consists of oil paintings on paper and intaglio, a form of printmaking that uses techniques such as engraving and etching.

Willse’s work has appeared in more than 100 exhibitions, including at the Galleria Neon in Bologna, Italy; the Alternative Museum in New York; and the Schmidt-Dean Gallery in Philadelphia. His art also is included in the permanent collections at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Free Library of Philadelphia and at corporate offices such as Time Warner, Inc. in New York.

Willse is chair of the Studio Art Department at Rosemont College. He earned a bachelor of fine arts degree and a master of fine arts degree in printmaking at Temple University’s Tyler School of Art.

The exhibit will be in the Grace and Joseph Gorevin Fine Arts Gallery, second floor of the Holy Spirit Library, on the Cabrini campus (610 King of Prussia Road, Radnor). Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. - 10 p.m.; Friday, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Sunday, 1-10 p.m.
