Opening Reception for Artist Exhibition

Join the Main Line Unitarian Church Visual Arts Group in welcoming artist Judith Kniffin for a potluck dinner and a presentation of her latest work. Detritus: Beauty in Decay features a series of oil paintings that portray old buildings, rusted metal, discarded glass and paper, and organic growth in decomposition. Judy says of her work: “Colors, formerly sharp and primary, have gone soft and askance. Rotting surfaces nourish new life. Embodied here is a very different kind of beauty, but arresting, nonetheless.”
