Steeltowns, Coalfields and the Unbroken Circle--featuring guitarist Tom Breiding

This is a Pennsylvania Humanities Council event! With his guitar, banjo and harmonica accompaniment, Tom Breiding delivers original musical stories of life in American towns over the last century. Tom is a popular draw in the Pittsburgh area music scene and a recording artist who sings his original songs about Pittsburgh steel mills and the Pennsylvania coal mines and points in between. Breiding is currently working on another album ansdalso tours as a member of three different bands and as a solo artist. Country music artist Tom T. Hall praised the artist, calling Breiding "shades of Woody Guthrie". Nolan Painting has donated popcorn and lemonade for the event, and The Radnor Hotel will provide overnight accomodations for Mr. Breiding. Thank you to both for your generosity! Since 1973, the PHC has provided resources that empower local groups to help their communities explore history, literature, the arts, and the ideas that shape the human experience.
