"The Linguists" Documentary Film Screening

The co-sponsor for this event is Radnor Historical Society. The first film funded by the National Science Foundation ever to premier at the Sundance Film Festival in 2008, "The Linguists", a one-hour film, went on to win top honors and screen at hundreds of film festivals around the world. It is a hilarious and poignant film that follows National Geographic Fellow and Swarthmore Professor K. David Harrison and Dr. Gregory Anderson racing to document languages on the verge of extinction. Anderson is the Director of the Living Tongues Institute for Endangered Languages.
