Wanderlust Theatre Company's Educational Program for Kids!

“The Wanderers,” Wanderlust’s educational program, exists to expose children and their parents to the transformative power of theatre and performance and to provide children with avenues to express themselves creatively and tell their own stories to the community in a supportive environment that encourages team work and initiative.

MIDDLE SCHOOL: “MIDDLE WANDERERS!” $250

An after school program for middle school students where they develop an original

performance, which will be shown to the community.

Dates/Times: Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30-5:30, October 3-November 9*

HIGH SCHOOL: “SENIOR WANDERERS!” $200

An after school program for high school students where they learn public speaking and performance skills by tackling the works of William Shakespeare and presenting select scenes to the community.

Dates/Times: Fridays, 3:30-6:30, October 6-November 11*

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: “JUNIOR WANDERERS!” $150

A series of Saturday morning creative story-telling/performance classes for elementary students (2nd through 5th grade) where they learn how to collaborate in group settings, develop their creative faculties, and improve their overall stage presence.

Group A (Grades 2 and 3)

Dates/Times: Saturday, 9-10, October 1-November 5

Group B (Grades 4 and 5)

Dates/Times: Saturday, 10-11, October 1-November 5

*The middle and high school portions of the program culminate in a showcase to the community, which also features a family-friendly performance by a professional artist from Philadelphia’s vibrant theatre community.  The showcase will happen on Friday, November 11.    

All educational programs will take place at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church (104 Louella Ave, Wayne, PA 19087) on the corner of Louella and Lancaster Avenues, right next to Radnor Middle School.
