Why Go: Bring the whole family for Camp Teekna's annual egg hunt and open house beginning in the Elementary Gym with the comedy and magic of Jeffery Blum. Meet the Camp Teekna staff and find out more about the summer camp program. Then, enjoy a giant egg hunt with plenty of candy and prizes for the kids.

SPRING FUN DAY

Where/When: Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation in from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Why Go: Enjoy a day in the country that is close to home. Kids of all ages can participate in games, races, activities, and craft making. Find a needle in the hay stack and roll down the hill on the hay slide. Plus, check out the animals including a new draft horse and nine new baby pigs.
Pricing: $8, children under 4 admitted free

HAYRIDES TO BUNNYLAND

Where/When: from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Why Go: Bounce along on a hayride through the woods to visit the Easter Bunny's house. After visiting with the Easter Bunny and getting a special treat, enjoy pony rides, face painting and train rides. Also, don't miss seeing the baby animals or the baby chicks display in the farm market. While there, consider going home with some Easter flowers, candy or one of their world-famous pies.

SUBARU CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL: SAKURA SUNDAY

Where/When: Horticulture Center in West Fairmount Park from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Why Go: Enjoy an action-packed spring celebration of Japanese arts and culture. Activities include karate demonstrations, origami and calligraphy workshops, a "prettiest pet in pink" contest, a fashion show, roving storytellers and plenty of hands-on fun. Take in a day of captivating festivities or simply come out with friends and family to picnic under the cherry blossoms.
Pricing: Adults $5, ages 14 and under are free
