Plein Air Artists in Wayne Friday and Saturday
The Wayne Art Center's annual exhibit brings in 30 artists who paint the landscape and buildings of this area.
The 2013 Plein Air artists have already created more 180 paintings in the past three days, according to the Wayne Art Center.
On Thursday, 30 national artists are painting in the historical locations of Center City, boat house road, the state penitentiary as well as the classic Ardrossan Farm Estate in Villanova.
On Friday, May 10 all the artists will paint on location in downtown Wayne from sunrise until 1 p.m.

The Gala Opening is Friday, May 10 from 6 to 10 p.m. at the art center.
On Saturday morning in downtown Wayne from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. will be the official "Paint Out."

The art center's gallery is open Mondays – Fridays, 9 am – 5 pm and Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
