Radnor Residents Invited to Submit Artwork for Wayne Art Center Exhibit

The 12th annual Expressions of Radnor Exhibition will be held from February 9 through March 15.

The 12th annual Expressions of Radnor Exhibition will be held from February 9 through March 15. This annual juried art exhibition celebrates the artists who live within the boundaries of Radnor Township.  

This exhibition will be displayed in the Davenport Gallery at the Wayne Art Center, 413 Maplewood Avenue in Wayne.  An opening reception and awards ceremony will be held Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 3:00-5:00pm.  This is free and open to the public. Exhibition hours at the Wayne Art Center are Monday through Saturday, from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

Over $1000 in prizes will be awarded by Philadelphia sculptor and instructor George Nista.  Prize awards will be provided by Wayne businesses to this year’s winning artists.

Expressions of Radnor is open to all artists who are legal residents of Radnor Township.  Artists are eligible to submit up to two pieces of original artwork including oil or acrylic painting, watercolor, pastel, photography, original prints, mixed media, ceramics, stained glass or sculpture.  

Artists should drop off entries on Saturday, February 1st from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm or Monday, February 3rd from 9:00 am – 7:00 pm. For more information or to receive a prospectus please call the Wayne Art Center at 610.688.3553 or visit our website at www.wayneart.org.
