Taking Art Right Off the Wall

The Wayne Art Center says you can jump-start your art collection for $100.

The Wayne Art Center will hold its third biennial fundraising event, Spring Off The Wall on Friday, March 22 from 6 to 10 p.m. The one night exhibition and sale will feature more than 100 original artworks donated by some of the region’s best artists and members.

All work is anonymously displayed and will be on sale for $100. Framing will be offered for $60 for each 8 X 10” painting by The Great Frame Up in Wayne during the evening.

Guests will have a chance to preview all artwork Friday, March 22 from 6 to 7 p.m. Following the preview, guests will be admitted into the Davenport Galley by lottery, and will have five minute to make a selection and literally take the work “Off the Wall”. All proceeds will benefit Wayne Art Center’s art education and outreach programs.
