Agnes Irwin School Ready to Open Doors to New Buildings

The school in Rosemont will dedicate its new athletic and student-life buildings Wednesday morning.

The Agnes Irwin School submitted the following news release:

Celebrating the opening of The Agnes Irwin School’s new athletic and student life facilities, faculty, staff, students and school officials will assemble outside of the Suzanne Wallworth Schellenger ’49 Entrance (the school’s new front entrance) on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The Class of 2014 will lead the school community into the new gymnasium, which boasts a competition-sized basketball court, state-of-the-art squash courts, dining center and Innovation Center for digital media and technology.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to announce the completion of our 10-year strategic master plan,” said Head of School Mary Seppala. “As we open the door to this new school year, we continue to our commitment to continuous improvement and dedication to all that is best for the girls.”
