Code Violations Close Pizza Shop

A routine inspection by Radnor Township's health officer recently caused the closure of Dimeo Italian Cuisine and Pizzeria in the Strafford Shopping Center in Wayne.

According to Kevin Kochanski, director of community development for Radnor Township, the township did shut the building down for code violations, and there are "unsafe conditions in there."

The report from the Feb. 18 inspection states that the electrical panel cover is partially off the box, and that an electrician must re-install it. There were eight other items listed that Dimeo was out of compliance on.
