Dimeo's Pizza Closes After Code Violations

The shop never reopened after violations were discovered in February.

Dimeo Pizza and Italian Cuisine in Wayne has closed permanently, Radnor Township's health officer Larry Taltoan told Radnor Patch.

During a routine inspection by Taltoan in February code violations were discovered.

Taltoan would not specify what he found, but said he "discovered a deficiency" that required him to report.

According to a police incident report, a Radnor Police detective requested that PECO be notified of "an open meter head and theft of service."

The report from the Feb. 18 township inspection states that the electrical panel cover was partially off the box, and that an electrician would have to re-install it.
