Eaves Opens in Wayne

A serene, Montauk-inspired shopping space has opened in Wayne.

Eaves, a women's clothing boutique, is the creation of Susan Ahn, most recently the Divisional Merchandising Manager at URBN, Anthropologie.

Dark wood floors and white walls act as a neutral backdrop for racks of the clothing, which are "inspired by fun classics that transcend age," Ahn said.

The wares are for the girl or woman "who wants to layer in great quality pieces that aren't particular to trends."

Ahn carries lines such as Splendid, Ella Moss, Michael Stars, Marc Jacobs, Antik Batik and Lem Lem.

It's hard to believe that Eaves was previously the site of the dog salon . But Ahn says that when they practically gutted the building, any trace of dog was destroyed.

The shop opened April 11.
