Get A Taste Of Maine On The Main Line

As snow looms, new restaurant helps cure cravings for a taste of summer vacation.

The new Quincy's Original Lobster Rolls is now open in Berwyn at 414 W. Swedesford Road in the Swedesford Plaza shopping center.

The restaurant features fresh lobster rolls and lobster salad with lobster shipped in straight from Maine. They buy their lobster from a fishery owned by Linda Beans (as in the L.L. Bean family-it doesn't get much more Maine than that!)

Lobster rolls start at $10.95 and range up to $21.95 for a lunch combo that includes soup, lobster roll, drinks, chips and dessert. It's fresh lobster, and priced accordingly but the price won't fluctuate with changes in 'market prices" for fresh lobster according to Manager David Pizzo.

The menu does offer hot dogs and grilled cheese at $3.95.

The dessert offering features "wicked whoopie pies" for $2.95.

Quincy's Original Lobster is open 11 a.m.-8 p.m. seven days a week.
