Haven Closes Storefront in Wayne

The interior design store is seeking a new nearby location.

Haven, the retail shop and interior design firm, closed its storefront on the corner of North Wayne Avenue and Station Road in downtown Wayne recently.

The interior design store is seeking a new nearby location, according to owner Kim Kristire. It also has a space in Avalon, NJ called Blue Turtle. You can also find Haven Interiors online.

In December, 2001 Radnor Patch reported on the then-newly-opened shop, which previously existed as Simply Cottage on Lancaster Avenue in Haverford.

"Kim Kristire, along with Tiffany Carro, have brought transitional, modern and classic furniture and design aesthetics to the North Wayne showroom," it was reported. "But the store's space is also home to their design services, which draw on 600 vendors, including 14 lines of linens alone."

Haven replaced Pear Tree, a gifts and home decor store. Before that it was a longtime news agency.
