Mediterranean Grill in Wayne Turns Thai

The short-lived Mediterranean Grill on Conestoga Road is changing its name and cuisine.

Less than one year after opening, the Mediterranean Grill in Wayne is changing its name and cuisine.

Chef/owner Tony Alidjani told Radnor Patch that the restaurant's two locations — in Wayne and Bryn Mawr — were too close together and were diluting the customer base at each location.

So Alidjani has partnered with the owner of Chiangmai in Conshohocken and Thai Orchid in Blue Bell to open a Thai and Asian fusion restaurant at the corner of Conestoga Road and West Wayne Avenue.

Asiana Garden should be open by November. It will provide eat-in, take-out and catering services.

"We're hoping this will be a success," Alidjani said.
