New HotHouse Coffee Has Radnor Roots

The shop is next to the Bryn Mawr Film Institute in Bryn Mawr.

opened Thursday morning, replacing the former .

The coffee house at the beginning of July and now has an entirely new interior, with walnut hardwood floors, handmade zinc countertops, a small living room-type space and bamboo tabletops and bar front. The bar has also been expanded.

"The transformation—it's incredible," said manager Michael O'Malley. "To see the plan and then to actually be in here and see it, it looks exactly like the 3D rendering."

Local architect Form A+D, whose principal Paul Bloomfield lives in the Bryn Mawr section of Radnor Township, brought Radnor resident and to life, O'Malley said.
