Sam, I have heard comments like you have about Xilantro. My husband and I have been three times, and enjoyed it every time! It certainly is not what we "gringos" are used to as classic Mexican fare, but is probably more truly Mexican fine dining or modern Mexican cuisine. It is certainly worth a try.

Thanks Sharon. I will give Xilantro a try. Also, for me, the outdoor dining is a big plus.

I have dined at Paramour several times and it was excellent each time. The chairs are comfortable and the food is wonderful. The beautiful decor enhanced the experience and I will definitely be visiting again.

...Been twice as well and both nights, the service was really lousy. It took forever to get something to drink and the pacing between courses was horrible. I notice that once again Paramour is advertising online for servers and food runners. You don't see popular, high quality restaurants (which take good care of their staff) having to do that. Servers knock on their doors for work because they know the tips will be great. Something's definitely "off" here.

Been twice ... first time soon after it opened and it was great. Second time the service was lousy and the food was mediocre and it's expensive. Maybe when the front porch opens I'll try again ... I like Xilantro - a little pricey but good service and good food and drinks.
