Radnor Home Sales Steady in October

Radnor Township home sales in October increased 5.6 percent from the same month last year.

According to a Home Market report from Prudential Fox and Roach Realtors, 19 properties changed hands in the township during October this year.

In 2011 that number was 18; in 2010 it was 26.

Compared with the same month last year, Radnor was the sixth best percentage-wise out of nine Main Line municipalities included in the report.

The median price of a home sold in Radnor increased 56.1 percent this October to $557,000 from $356,750 last October.

The average days on the market for homes that sold in Radnor this June increased by 8.8 percent from 91 last October to 99 days, according to the Prudential Fox and Roach report.
