Radnor Resident Named Comcast Chief Communications Officer

D'Arcy F. Rudnay manages Comcast's brand, image, and reputation.

 

D’Arcy F. Rudnay has been named Chief Communications Officer of the Comcast Corporation.

Her new title reflects the expansion of her responsibilities to include leadership for the management of Comcast’s brand, image, and reputation, and the additional complexity of the parent company’s communications functions following the NBCUniversal transaction.

Rudnay, a Radnor resident, will remain responsible for all strategic communications for Comcast and will retain her title of Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications.  She reports to David L. Cohen, Executive Vice President, and works closely on special projects with Comcast Chairman and CEO Brian L. Roberts.

Before joining Comcast in 2003, Rudnay served as Vice President of Corporate Communications and Media Relations at Lincoln Financial Group.

She previously served as Vice President of Communications and Corporate Identity at Advanta Corporation and as a Communications Manager for the Pew Charitable Trusts. 

She was inducted into Public Relations Hall of Fame in 2010 as one of the Nation’s top 25 communications executives and has been recognized as a Woman of Distinction by the Philadelphia Business Journal, as a Woman Worth Watching by the Diversity Journal, and as one of the Most Powerful Women in Cable by CableFax Magazine.
