Red Mango, which specializes in non-fat yogurt and smoothies, will open at 150 East Lancaster Avenue on Saturday, May 26.
The franchise, located where the Mustard Seed once was, is the first in Pennsylvania, although one is being planned for Philadelphia.
The company boasts all natural, non-fat, gluten-free products that can be eaten as a dessert or a meal.
Owner Jaime Whitcomb said the "real yogurt" they use in all of their products includes probiotics and comes in a variety of flavors. The yogurt ranges from 25 to 40 calories per ounce.
The yogurt, which can be eaten in a cone or bowl, is self-served.
Smoothies are made from the original yogurt base, are more filling and include more protein. Options include Strawberry Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Banana, and Spoonable Mango Pineapple.
Whitcomb, who most recently ran the retail business at Terrain at Styer's in Glen Mills, said the fruit used is fresh and freshly cut daily.
The hours will be 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, except on Sunday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Whitcomb and her co-owner husband Matthew have two daughters and live in West Chester.
