Wayne Company Invests in Electronic Eyeglasses

The glasses could eliminate the need for bifocals with the touch of a button.

The Philadelphia Business Journal reports new electronic eyeglasses, developed with $45 million from Wayne-based technology investment company Safeguard, will get their first public demonstration Tuesday in Philadelphia.

According to the article, Safeguard's Managing Director in Life Sciences predicts this invention will " 'revolutionize' the standard of care for eyeglass wearers.
