Yogo Sano Closes

A prime piece of downtown Wayne retail space will be open once again.

Yogo Sano, the organic frozen yogurt café offering USDA-certified organic yogurt and frozen yogurt, has closed, its owner confirmed to Radnor Patch on Monday, Dec. 17.

Yogo Sano opened in February, 2011 as the first frozen yogurt location in downtown Wayne on the visible corner of North Wayne and West avenues. Two other frozen yogurt shops have opened since then in Wayne.

Recently, Yogo Sano also started carrying Capogiro gelato.

That's interesting. I really liked Yogo Sano and we bought from there a lot last summer. But then one day, I ran into the owner at Whole Foods pushing a whole cartful of milk and yogurt that was neither organic nor grass fed. I guess you can only fool some of the people some of the time. It was really super expensive, too, and I guess they couldn't compete with the self-serve places that offered lots of different flavor and topping choices. Shame.

The location will be reopening in upcoming weeks, under a new owner of course! Royal Cafe of Wayne. Selling truly organic froyo, desserts, soups, sandwiches, beverages and much more! Check it out sometime!
