Radnor Awarded as a Family Place Library

Radnor Memorial Library now has official status as a Family Place Library, ascribing to the mission of "building strong communities through early childhood development, parent education and family support." (http://www.familyplacelibraries.org/)

As a Family Place Library, we offer a play area with developmentally-appropriate toys and manipulatives and an up-to-date collection of parenting books and magazines. The library is no longer just a place to find information-- it's now a hot spot for connecting families and resources, while providing an atmosphere that fosters creative play and conversation.
